Copyright and Takedown
Public procedure · 6 September 2026
Vantabean respects the rights of photographers, roasteries, creators and other rights holders. Signed-in users can report public content from its action menu. A rights holder or authorised representative can submit a copyright report without a Vantabean account.
Send a copyright report
Please include:
- your name, email address and whether you are the rights holder or an authorised representative;
- a description of the protected work;
- the Vantabean URL or enough information to locate each reported item;
- why you believe the use is unauthorised and the action you request;
- any permission record or other context that would help the review; and
- a statement that the information you provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Do not send identity documents or unrelated personal information unless Vantabean asks for specific verification that is necessary to resolve the report.
Review and temporary measures
Vantabean checks whether the report identifies the work, the material and a plausible rights claim. We may ask for missing information. Where the claim appears credible, the material may be hidden or replaced while the report is reviewed. Restricting an image does not require deleting the underlying coffee record.
Uploader response and decision
Where appropriate, Vantabean may ask the uploader for permission evidence or relevant context. Contact details from the reporter are not shared unless needed to handle the claim or required by law. Vantabean may restore, replace, restrict or remove the material after review and keeps a limited record of the report and decision.
Review requests and repeated infringement
A reporter or affected uploader may ask for another review by replying to the decision email or contacting hello@vantabean.com. Repeated or deliberate infringement may lead to account restrictions. Deliberately false or abusive reports may also lead to restrictions.
This process is an operational reporting route and does not replace any rights or remedies available under applicable law.
